My family and I have stayed at this motel on 3 different occasions. I have nothing but good things to say . the rooms are clean and inviting . the people r very friendly. The beds r comfortable. I would definitely recommend. To anyone and would stay again.
A very nice, clean, quiet motel. We were pleasantly surprised. Check in was quick , the owner was helpful and knowledgable about the area. Our room was spotless, everything worked, had a microwave , refrigerator, coffee pot, and hair dryer and 8 pillows on each bed, and wifi. And it was so reasonable. Several blocks down the street was a great restaurant for breakfast. After staying several previous nights in chain motels, this was a refreshing change. I would give it 4 stars and recommend it to anyone!
My husband travels for a living and stays in upscale hotels when away from home. We meet some friends from Iowa and went to Minhas Distillary, and had a little too much fun! So, we stayed at the Gasthaus. We were so impressed by the hospitality of the owners Chad and Brittney and how they keep their motel so clean, and the beds… so comfortable! I was amazed for the price everything we got including cosmetic remover for your face!!! There are little refrigerators, microwaves, coffee for the morning, shampoo/conditioner, lotions and, nice big towels. This motel is a 10+! Thank you Chad and Brittney for such an awesome experience! When we come back to Monroe and need a place to stay we will stay at Gasthaus Motel!!!
Recently stayed at this hotel and was overall pleased with the stay. The room was very clean, appeared to have been recently remodeled. The towels were super soft, much nicer than many motels. I would have liked a desk lamp and an alarm clock in the room, but did ok without them. My only concern was that the curtains were pretty thin. I went outside twice while the lights were on just to make sure you couldn’t see into the room, and you couldn’t. I would stay at this place again mainly just due to the cleanliness. It was a residential area, and very peaceful and quiet.
We recently stayed at the Gasthaus Motel with a group of fellow Gold Wing riders. The owner of the motel checked us in upon arrival and said that she had gone and turned the air on in all our rooms. So very nice of her!! Rooms are also decorated nicely with modern items. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your place.
We stayed with you 2-3 years ago and I was concerned that it would be “outdated” . I was so pleasantly surprised by the room we had that I have given your name to everyone I know. However, the feedback I get is that there are no pix to see except the outside of the hotel and a bed. Perhaps you could post more shots in the future?
